After over 10 years in the building trade, owners Rockie and Charlotte White formed A-Rock Construction in 2011 with a vision to grow the business to become North East Derbyshire’s primary local building company.

A-Rock started working on domestic extensions and has progressed to fulfilling local authority contracts and developing their own plots of new build homes. 

Our core focus is to deliver beautiful family homes with larger than average footprints and designed with family living in mind. Our attention to detail and finish is what sets A-Rock homes apart from your standard new build home. 

The team has grown to now having over 50 staff including tradesmen, master craftsmen and stonemasons, ensuring we keep the vast majority of our work in-house. 

The business has a strong family run philosophy, focusing on developing new talent through training and development for local people, whether it’s young apprentices or older talent looking to retrain. As winners of the Derbyshire Times Business Awards 2018 category for People Development we are dedicated to consistently training our staff both in Health and Safety and trade skills. A-Rock Construction focus on the local community and concentrate on working within the East Midlands and Peak District, keeping local work for local people.

We will continue to remain focused on delivering exceptional standards, on a variety of projects whilst keeping the personal touch associated with a family run business.
